In General Information you'll find more general guidance to help you understand how we work at Contact, and what we need you to know to be successful in your non-safety critical work, for example: 'What do I need to fly a drone at Contact?' or 'Can I use a ladder to do this job?'

We've co-designed the content with our frontline workers and subject matter experts, but we also want you to help us grow the content on the site. Please let us know what would be useful for you, what’s missing, what doesn’t feel quite right or what we have nailed through our feedback form.
Welcome to Protect@Contact, the place you can come to find the information you need to set you up for success with your work, and help you create safe work outcomes at Contact.
Both our people and contractors sometimes face challenges in finding and gaining easy access to the important and relevant guidance for their work, when they need it at the work-front. Protect@Contact is our solution.

The information on this site is divided into two sections:
In Critical Risks you'll find important documentation for successful safety critical work on our sites. Each Critical Risk has an Essential guide that details the minimum expectations for carrying out safety critical work, and is designed to be used during development of your work controls and in toolboxes onsite with your teams. You'll also find other documents, forms, and tools that you'll need.
Special thanks go to Kurt Warren and Hansen Yuncken for giving us the lightbulb moment we needed to show us a way forward. Kurt and HY have been open and generous with their sharing of both their safety journey and how they developed their site: hyworkzone.com.au. They exemplify the philosophy that there is no intellectual property in safety, and we are very grateful for their encouragement and help.
